About its beginning...

The Sto. Niño Missional Community was officially recognized by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas last January 24, 2024.  However, as community of Santo Nino, it was started by two Filipino priests, Rev. Fr. Isaias Ginson, FCC of the Episcopal Church, and Bro. Nelson Flores.

Its principal objective is to serve the spiritual needs of the local community in the Greater Houston area, especially those from the Filipino and Asia-Pacific communities who are on the lookout for reformed theology, one that addresses their real and practical needs.

The Sto. Niño community believes in the Trinity, the holiness of Mary, the one holy, apostolic, and catholic church. It adopts the Nicene Creed as its own creed. However, it has a religious nature, Sto. Niño is not just a religious community.  It is also helping like a socio-civic organization where folks from all faiths could join and be part of its fellowship.

Our home parish church is at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 2535 E. Broadway St., Pearland, Texas 77581. For more information, please contact our missional community leaders - Bro. Nelson Flores (713-858-5162), and Bro. Joe Coquilla (346-285-5338).
